Kurrajong nut

The seed pods are open and cup-shaped or you can turn them upside down and they resemble a bird.  Use the pods as decoration or as the basis for cute artwork.  Or maybe present a pair of earrings.
We soak and wash the pods carefully before sending them out to you. We also apply a very light matt sealer spray to protect them in transit.
These are the Western and Central Desert Kurrajong and therefore have a wider more bird-like shape than the boat shaped pod of the Eastern/Queensland kurrajong. These pods are not as common as the Queensland pod.
